Alright, so I've went and came back from Malaysia. So what's new?
The trip back to Malaysia this time round was particularly more enjoyable despite being only a month and a half.
Kit and Kay Lee was back for holidays from Canada. Mel was back from Korea. So it was pretty good being able to meet up with them after such a long time as most of us were scattered all over the world after college. And of course friends from Melbourne were also back in Malaysia, so we all had quite a jolly good time. I also manage to meet friends from high school and primary school during small gatherings, which was really great.
Also food, nothing much new but I really like Murni Discovery at Taipan. I'd describe it as mamak with an innovative twist =) simply love the thai mee siam, maggi goreng and mee raja there! Apart from that, I also finally gotten a taste of Korean BBQ at Dao Rae, Kepong. I never thought I'd actually like Bib Bim Bab but that restaurant serves really yummy ones!

I also manage to go to Universal Studios Singapore and stay at the most luxurious hotel (although just the most basic room) at Resort World! I'm telling you, that room had 3 LCD TVs, one embedded into the bathroom mirror, one in the bedroom and one more in the living area. Plus, they have a Nespresso coffee machine. Is that common? cause I only knew of Nespresso when I came to Australia. And, the room has a, wait for it.. Steam Bath in the shower!!! how wicked is that?! pure luxury.

So Sem 2 has just begun. I sense a pretty hectic semester ahead but I'm sure everything will be just alright =) the cold weather is really getting into me. I refuse to get out of bed in the mornings as it is warm under the sheets. And don't get me started on the water heater. it has a permanent PMS. I hate washing my hands too (but I do!) because its an icy cold water dispenser. I think I'd rather have Malaysia's hot weather. That way, I'll just take more baths, isn't it?
Alright, I think I better get back in doing some work now. I'm trying to be a better student this semester by getting things done in advance. Wish me luck!
