LOST EARRING
I pulled the few loose strands of hair to the back of my ears.
and then wanted to touch touch that pretty earring.
When my fingers felt only the earlobes and nothing else, I panicked.
"Wait a minute, I'm sure I wore earrings today."
Touch the other earlobe, there IS an earring there.
Die.
I dropped it.
Thoughts on where it could have been dropped ran through my head.
"It could be Myers where I tried on something."
"or Just Jeans."
It was only 15 minutes left till end of lecture, but too gan jiong la!
I had to go look for it.
It's not just any earring. It's a gift from my aunty.
so I left early and didn't stop running till I got to Just Jeans, hoping that it's in the changing room.
On the floor of that same changing room that I was in an hour ago, I found only the stopper of the earring.
The other piece was no where to be seen.
really die la this time..
I got one of the staffs there to look for it, even left my contact details just incase they found it.
He asked, "is it expensive?"
I said, "yeah."
stupid la, I said yeah for what?
should have said it's a gift and it means a lot to me ma!
what if he found it and decide to keep it?
till now no phone call lar!
whoever who took it, why did you even take it for??
It won't even serve you any purpose!
It's only one side of an earring and you even left the stopper!
stupid.
